On May 31, 2022, Brannen Chapel UMC Pastor, Rev. Kenneth Griffin, and Trustees Sidney Alston, Thomas Chance, and Cleveland White (pictured in two photos) celebrated the closing of their loan with Georgia United Methodist Foundation Regional Vice President Dr. Rick Lanford and Senior Advisor to the President and retired Director of Lending Jim Pope. Brannen Chapel UMC refinanced its parsonage loan with the Foundation, saving the Statesboro-based church nearly $3,000 each year.
