Carolyn Jones

Director of Communications

Carolyn joined the Georgia United Methodist Foundation as a freelance writer in 2024 and, beginning in January of 2025, is the part-time Director of Communications. She brings twelve years of experience in corporate Marketing and Communications and a history of non-profit development.

Carolyn is a talented communicator with a passion for thorough yet efficient storytelling. She has managed large-scale digital platforms, executed million dollar brand experiences and helped to create holistic advertising campaigns for Coca-Cola, Kia Motors, Nike and others. She graduated magna cum laude from Oglethorpe University with a degree in Communications & Rhetoric Studies.

Carolyn and her husband, Griffin, welcomed their first child in November of 2024. They live in Decatur, GA where they enjoy spending time with family, visiting new restaurants and learning the joys of parenthood.
