The Georgia United Methodist Foundation is pleased to announce that two new staff members have joined our team.
Brett Lokhorst
In June, Mr. Brett Lokhorst began serving as the Foundation’s Controller. Brett comes to the Foundation from the Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in Atlanta, and has more than twenty years of experience in financial modeling, accounting and forecasting. He has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a Major in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and is a CPA.
Beth Blakely
In July, Mrs. Beth Blakely began serving as the GUMF Office Administrator. Beth comes to the Foundation from the Gwinnett County Public School System, where she worked for more than twelve years in several different administrative roles. Beth majored in Human Communications at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota. She and her family are active members of Cannon UMC.
“Both Brett and Beth are exceptional new team members. I am confident that their skills and their experiences will continue the Foundation’s tradition of excellent financial ministry,” said Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Coppedge-Henley, president and CEO of the Georgia United Methodist Foundation.
