Georgia Pastors School Board

At the heart of the Methodist movement is connection. We connect to expand our mission and ministry. We connect for spiritual growth and accountability. Clergy often connect to learn and to encourage one another in faithful service to the church. Georgia Pastors School has provided the opportunity for pastors to connect for more than forty years. For many of those years, Pastors School met in Macon at Wesleyan College. More recently, it moved to Epworth by the Sea to encourage clergy to bring their families.

Bishop Robin Dease addresses the Georgia Pastors School

This year’s Pastors School, “The Old Story for a New Day,” took on an added meaning following the 2024 Southeastern Jurisdiction Conference. The SEJ decided that Bishop Robin Dease is to become the presiding bishop of both NGA and SGA Annual Conferences. This was the first opportunity Bishop Dease, whose new assignment will begin on September 1, was able to address pastors from both conferences together.

The Georgia United Methodist Foundation is honored to manage the funds for Georgia Pastors School. We find our purpose in the mission of this important ministry. Whether we are working with churches, districts, conference groups, related ministries or individuals, we are committed to offering faith-based financial solutions for the United Methodist family in Georgia. Please contact us if we can assist you in your ministry. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
